About the Procurement & Disposal Unit

The Procurement and Disposal Unit (PDU) ensures that all procurement and asset disposal processes are conducted with integrity, transparency, and value-for-money, in line with the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets (PPDA) Act. The PDU supports local businesses in the tourism supply chain where possible, ensures timely consolidation and execution of procurement plans, manages the procurement process in accordance with statutory regulations and timelines, provides timely and accurate feedback to all clients, and promotes ethical practices and integrity in all procurement activities.

These standards are set out in the Ministry's Service Delivery Standards (SDS) for FY 2024/25–FY 2029/30, aligned with Vision 2040, NDP IV, and the PIAP for the Tourism Development Programme.
