Wildlife Documents

This is the first national Strategy for combating poaching, illegal wildlife trade and trafficking in Uganda. Its formulation followed a comprehensive SWOT analysis of the existing framework for combating poaching, illegal wildlife trade and trafficking.

An Act to provide for the conservation and sustainable management of wildlife; to strengthen wildlife conservation and management; to continue the existence of the Uganda Wildlife Authority; to streamline the roles and responsibilities of institutions

The report on the state of wildlife resources in Uganda has been developed in line with the statutory obligation for Uganda Wildlife Authority to produce annual reports on the state of wildlife resources (Section 5(p) of the Uganda Wildlife Act CAP 200.
