The fifth Tusker Lite Rwenzori Marathon delivered elite racing, international recognition and a powerful tourism showcase in Kasese on Saturday, August 22, 2026. Against the dramatic backdrop of the Rwenzori Mountains, thousands of runners, spectators and visitors converged on the western Ugandan town for an edition that carried significance well beyond the finish line. For the first time, the race was organized as a World Athletics Label Road Race, formally placing Kasese on
