PRESS STATEMENT ON COMMEMORATION OF UN WORLD WILDLIFE DAY 2024 IN UGANDA
Uganda is set to commemorate the United Nations World Wildlife Day on March 3rd, 2024, together with the rest of the world. The national celebrations will be held in Kyenjojo District
Hon. REBECCA ALITWALA KADAGA TOURS PROJECTS IN BUSOGA SUB REGION
Hon. Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga, along with the Honourable Minister of State for Tourism, Wildlife and Antiques, visited the Uganda Hotel and Tourism Training Institute and the Source of the Nile area.
The Committee on Tourism, Trade and Industry of the Ugandan Parliament, led by Chairman Hon. Mwine Mpaka and representatives from the Ministry, paid a courtesy visit to the CTC Conservation Center.
The 5th Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) of Directors was inaugurated on 8th February 2024 by Hon. Minister Tom R.Butime at Mestil Hotel, Kampala. Ms Pearl Horeau Kakooza will chair the 11-member Board of Directors.
The prestigious Explore Uganda campaign is back for the 2024 leg. This time round, the campaign will traverse destination Busoga dubbed the realm of Unity, discovery and shared adventure.
